Girl’s Room Reveal!

When we made our list as a family of things we wanted to do this year, my middle daughter requested a room makeover. I hadn’t planned on doing any of the kids rooms for a while but couldn’t pass up her request. She requested pink walls and dog artwork and so I decided to do a high impact budget makeover for her.

The design changed a bit from our original mood board. The yellow curtains just didn’t work with the pink walls once we saw them in real life. We pivoted a bit and found some more neutral options and then added some beautiful blackout shades from Select Blinds that had that touch of yellow that she loved initially.

I started this project a few months ago, but once it got nice outside I got carried away in my garden, so it took a while to wrap up. A reminder of where we started….

I’ll link all that I can below but most of these items were reused form their last room or repurposed from other rooms and the paint did the main job of transforming this space!
